September 1861... an Artillery unit formed out of Lone Rock, Wisconsin. They were answering a call of their country to fight in what we now call the Civil War. As a Wisconsin-based artillery unit we have chosen to represent the 6th Battery and honor the history of the unit.

Living History Weekend
Lone Rock Area Historical Society; Lone Rock, Wisconsin is sponsoring a living history weekend- June 13 and 14, 2015- honoring the Civil War. Our unit representing the 6th Wisconsin Battery will be there to share the history of the Wisconsin Artillery unit during the Civil War. The event will take place at Battery Park.
