6th Wisconsin Light Artillery

September 1861... an Artillery unit formed out of Lone Rock, Wisconsin. They were answering a call of their country to fight in what we now call the Civil War. As a Wisconsin-based artillery unit we have chosen to represent the 6th Battery and honor the history of the unit.

July 3, 1865
The 6th Wisconsin Light Artillery arrived home in Lone Rock Wisconsin.
