September 1861... an Artillery unit formed out of Lone Rock, Wisconsin. They were answering a call of their country to fight in what we now call the Civil War. As a Wisconsin-based artillery unit we have chosen to represent the 6th Battery and honor the history of the unit.

6th Wisconsin Light Artillery will be at Milton House Saturday May 21 and Sunday May 22. See our link for Milton House. On Friday May 20 there will be ongoing presentations for the Area Schools.

Lone Rock Wisconsin June 11-12, 2016 Civil War Living History starts with a cannon shot at 10am at Battery Park. After that awakening for everyone, there will be a drill/presentation every hour on the hour by one of the companies present. Saturday June 11, opens 10am-5pm. Sunday June 12, 10am-4pm. Cannon shot at noon. There will be something for everyone. Please plan to attend. Keep in touch for more updates.
